ohh nooo not enough >_<[Hidden content]
i have no idea how it works, only that it does.....usuallyView attachment 186945
How exactly does this hidden content/revealed content work? It seems the message inside is stored on the server side and not visible to the person who doesn't meet a certain criteria, even with inspect element
This is how modern forums and platforms (Reddit, Discourse, XenForo, etc.) do it.View attachment 186945

This is how modern forums and platforms (Reddit, Discourse, XenForo, etc.) do it.
- User requests a page (/thread/123)
- Server checks their user permissions
- Server includes the hidden content in the response only if allowed. If not allowed, the server sends a placeholder instead
Because the restricted content is never sent to the browser, it cannot be revealed with:
Inspect element
Viewing HTML source
Browser dev tools
JavaScript override
The user literally never receives the text.
There is nothing to reveal.
