Discussion Unable to stay away from here

Hi everyone after one here away from this site I've returned, I felt the urge to come again here, through this year I've been in psychiatric clinics 3 times or 4 i don't remember, I've fought my xanax addiction for now, I've also known other people
But the world outside is not for me I didn't last long

There's anyone like me who use this place as a refuge?

I understand you, I enter the forum at least once a day~ For me it's a safe place, far from all the falsehood found on other sites on the internet like social media and real life..

I'm terminally online, i dont have any friends or a job so i'm just using the phone all day.

I couldnt be more miserable.

I feel the same. I enjoy connecting with people who share my views on suicide, and I also don't go outside much because of my illness. (And even when I do, I rarely express myself in a genuine way. It feels much easier online.)
Strangely, though, I'm not unhappy living my life online. It would be preferable if I had the strength and energy to go out with my friends frequently, but I'm fine with limiting most of my contact with others as long as I can have genuine conversations with people on the Internet.

I also don't see it in a bad way and you are right it would be preferable having social interactions outside but if online you can have more true and honest interactions compared to the fake ones irl there's no problem

This is the only place where I feel I can be truly honest and not be judge. And the amount of love and support here brighten my mood. So I have a hard time staying away even though previous counsellor told me to stay away from places like this.
