UK pre- pandemic suicide rates big increase, 11% to over 6500 in 2019. Nearly 700 cases in age group 10 to 24, official figures reveal.

Each person was a son, daughter, mother or father, sister and brother, loved and now lost.

RIP dear souls.

Always pains me to hear of such things, even reading the good bye threads saddens me as there was another person at the end of that. The depths of despair one must reach to go through with it is immense.

To me it's not surprising that so many people decide to leave this world. Life is so cruel and unfair after all. I do envy those who have passed away as they cannot suffer anymore. It does make suicide sound much easier than it actually is when you hear of so many people managing to go through with it. Rest in peace.

it can be so sad to read about the desperation of some . One family near me jumped off the cliff face. They were holding hands. They had lost their baby to a disease and couldn't live without him.

Life can be cruel but i know pain is only temporary, just like life. In the end, it passes away like a storm in the night.
