I would be wary of announcing the date, time, place and method of transport. As this is public, a guest to the forum may feel obliged to pass this information onto police who may then decide to have a local patrol officer double check for any suspicious activity in that area, at that time owing to the information given.
Perhaps it's bordering on the paranoid in one sense, but I personally wouldn't take the risk of giving out such information if I didn't want to be interrupted.

There are so many of us from the UK on here we could meet in Eastbourne and probably hire and fill a double decker bus and drive it off Beachy Head :)
