I was wondering if a trigger clamp or something similar could replace a partial hanging by tightening it on the carotid artery? Seems like it'd be identical to getting choked unconscious in jiu-jitsu, something I've experienced a couple of times, except there'll be no letting go.....

Could this actually work?

There is a post with a custom design for a collar in the night night mega thread. Don't know whether someone used it or not.

Thanks for sharing. Wish there was some more info about these kind of methods. They almost seem to easy and good to be true if it feels just like getting choked out in jiu-jitsu, you just fall asleep.....

But I imagine if they actually did work as well as I hope, it would be a very popular easy method.....

As didy referenced it's very similar to the night night method, unfortunately that method is regarded a bit of a sham by many, simply doesn't work for most.
Using that clamp especially I feel would be very difficult as you would have to really have it tight to avoid slipping out after going unconscious and it's a big solid device that can be loosened with contact with the floor or a wall.
I'm so sorry your situation and lack of means has led you to consider this but I would hold off for a more tried and tested method, good luck whatever happens 🤗
