Are trains a good option? Godspeed the drivers but they know they'll relieve me of my suffering. Is it a bad option if they're slow, what's the best mph?

Am I a bad person for not considering the conductors feelings?

But you have just considered their feelings. You're not a bad person for that. Sure, you might traumatize these people a bit, but I think it's unfair to expect you to endure all that suffering for their sake.
As for the method itself, I've heard that it's not a really good idea. Apparently, some people survive while having their limbs cut off. Even if you do position your neck at the right place, your survival instinct will likely make you move away at the last second, which can end very badly for you

Yeah but not random people. Maybe they are among the few good ones. I want the bad ones to suffer. There are plenty of rapists out there who deserve all the trauma and unending nightmares. Same with other violent criminals.

Those don't exist in Europe. We have gotten way to weak minded to anything against criminals.

What would be the best neck placement? Should I lay down on the tracks as the train arrives? What if someone interferes?

Full disclosure - I have no knowledge of this. I would assume that the neck needs to be on the tracks, but it's just a guess. If somebody interferes (which could easily happen), you're busted
