Tonight’s the night (SN)

My protocol is pretty bare bones:

2:00 pm : food fast
8:00 pm : water fast
9:00 pm : 25mg 6-Shogaol (antiemetic)
10:00 pm : drink 25g SN mixed in 50ml of water (second cup if necessary)

Hoping today is a bit uneventful; I really don't want any last minute anxiety or regret.

Just to stay relaxed and on routine. I've always felt that the ideal day should be just like any other.

Less novelty -> less anxiety

I did not anticipate how hard it would be to stay awake. The combination of the fast and making sure everything is where I want it before I leave is definitely taking its toll. That being said, the anxiety is mostly gone.

I just poured both glasses in advance. VSED has had lasting effects on my sense of smell and taste which may be to my advantage here. In spite of the risk, I'm going to drink a glass of London Dry gin to help unwind. I'll post again when I'm ready to go.

On second thought, the gin isn't actually necessary. I've calmed down and am waiting in my recliner for the right time.
