Today I sold the dress I intended to CTB in

Hi everyone

I haven't been here for a while. I have tried to get my life back on track, but I just can't.
I sold the dress I intended to CTB in. I realise that things like this are really not important when the time comes for me to leave.
I honestly wish I had done it last year.
I have all the 'stuff', SN etc. Just waiting for the right time.

Do you want to talk a bit about stuff? I guess maybe a lot of the people you normally interacted with on here might not be aware you are back yet? I remember reading a good few of your posts when we posted on the same threads a while back. There's a lot of new faces it seems, for better or worse :-/

two days ago i ordered my SN, and i'm wrestling with this idea of the belongings that meant so much to me. the sentimental belongings and the supplies to learn visual arts or dance or music -- what do they matter, anymore, when i'm dead? it seems like these belongings meant something only when thinking that i'll stay alive and want to make something useful of my life.

it sounds like that dress might have been important or sentimental to you. it reminds me of how strange this "planning for suicide" thing is, how different than life was before we started to plan for suicide.

i wonder if the new person is going to enjoy wearing that dress. maybe they'll feel good wearing it.

This life can be exhausting, it can be a hopeless feeling when we try to get better but things dont go to plan. I wish I ctb at an earlier date too. I wish you well.
