Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Our friends always call the cops or the hospital on us. We were both paranoid about talking about it with anyone, and they actually ended up disappearing and running away. It's funny how that worked out. They told me they were going on Lost All Hope.

I hear ya. I've had a lot of my friends confide in me pretty seriously about ending it all. I'm obviously on this site so I'm right there with em, but as they are my friends I try to be as reasonable and logical as possible in trying to help them. I don't feed any of that pro life bs ofc, but I do genuinely try to convince them to find some reason( physically ailments excluding)

This is also my approach. I don't shell out platitudes, I express a similar feeling, and usually suggest we go do something fun like go to the beach or make art or something. I find it's easier to go about it that way then try to convince them otherwise. Well, if we're going to might as well have fun.

This would be a dream situation for me. To have someone in my life who shares my philosophy on choice and understands what's going through my head. I'd also consider them a potential partner, if they were up for that.
I too have had other friends threaten to call the cops, so I'm really happy to hear you've found someone to share openly with… though sad that you both find yourselves in challenging life situations.
It's not easy to know that there's someone else there who has the same disposition as I do. I don't want anyone else to go through the same pains. They're definitely going through a ringer of emotions and addictions. If I had to guess one of us is going to CTB and make a bunch of people feel like shit, but we both share a pain that no one else really has to deal with in our community. It's hard to describe or put into words, but we also have difficult times trusting each other anyway. It's no way to live.
