• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Like in the US? Police investigate to make sure it was a suicide - talk to relatives, go over "scene", collect evidence including electronics if able, whatever else. Morgue holds body for autopsy, family claim, burial, cremation, etc. I have no idea if there is always an autopsy performed, or how much of an autopsy is performed. Probably depends on circumstances. Maybe you could be more specific about what you want to know.

I'm in the UK, it's pretty similar. There was an inquest into his death and we were given counselling but that's about it aside from the funeral and stuff.

Same experience here. I was surprised how little the police did. (Basically nothing as far as I could see). No note had been left but the person had made previous attempts.

Are you asking about the things they do to prove it was suicide? Or what specifically?

When my best friend ctb there was no debate at any point whether he did it. I knew it was suicide as soon as I heard it. I don't think the police were involved at all and I assume the morgue just held the body until it was time for cremation.

For them to be involved, I assume there would have to be doubt about what happened.

I have! The police do not investigate at all if there is a note, body and weapon. It's up to the family if they want autopsy. The coroner office take the body to certified the death. That's it from my own experience. Unless the person is VIP and family demand answers it will be another story.
