Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A thick rope, tied in a slipknot around my neck, with the other end tied around a stable object. Then I hit maximum speed on an electric scooter with it still tied around my throat, which is 20 miles an hour. There's enough rope for me to hit full speed, but when it runs out, how lethal could the damage be? Is there a certain orientation I should use to ensure strangulation or a broken neck?
I doubt decapitation could be part of this picture, but I don't know for sure...

I have read of decapitation by car using the same method and the speed needed was surprisingly slow but of course you can't really get yanked off a car like you can with a bike. Also, at lower speeds you're quite likely to feel a lot of pain and fail overall leaving yourself paralysed. You speak of breaking your neck. It doesn't result in death. Strangulation needs to be continued fpr a period of time to cause death also. I don't think your method os gping to be viable. I'm sorry if I sound unsympathetic in my explanation. It's probably not what you want to hear but it's the truth as I see it. I think the most likely outcome would be paralysis and a life of hell to follow. Please don't try this.

No way to know until you try, however, I DON'T encourage you to try this. Imo, a broken neck could possibly be achieved with a hangman's noose rather than a slipknot. A thin sharp wire could possibly achieve decapitation instead. There really is no way to know the damage, unless someone has actually tried this & survived. Life long pain would probably be the result of failure.

Thanks, both of you. I'd rather have honest opinions than to continue on and become irreversibly injured.
