Just wondering if anyone has seen the latest Marvel movie Thunderbolts.

At it core, it's a movie about about mental health, which becomes really apparent in the final act.

I found a lot of really relatable. Yelena the main character in particular, with she describes her life.
Then *spoilers* later on we see a character battling being with his inner evil self. Somthing I found really relatable, getting an inner cruel voice in my head trying to drag me down.

Got teary a few times watching it

I kind of wished they doubled down more on the depression themes, not sure exactly how they could have but it just felt like it was missing a little more emotional buildup. The Void was really cool though it's a shame that it sucks as a CTB method.

I just watched it and I'm surprised how much I liked it especially since I don't particularly like the Yelena character (or her father or sister). Maybe with my current state I just needed some superhero escapism. I too am Bob except the superpowers and a group of friends that rally around and help. I'll have to take what I can get. I like that Bob was cast as the villain but found redemption in the end as opposed to, for instance, Killmonger who was the real hero of Black Panther but never got the recognition as such.

Sorry for the necro bump.
