we can see humans fulfilling their need to seek for like-minded individuals and acceptance in a social group, the underlying motive being the need for recognition and approval by others
Hmmm, how? Seems like the exact opposite to me- many people here are anti-natalist- if you are meaning we are the more evolved ones. If not- then yes.
If you mean from 'the survial of the fittest standpoint'- in which case- we are wanting to quit early- sometimes before even procreating so our less than able genes (in terms of surviving this world) can be stamped out before being passed on then yep.
Also- ever considered this is nature's way of reducing our (already too large) population? Still- evolotion seems to be selfish to me- benefitting the organism it is working for over anything else.
