• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I think it will be the easiest way to earn money. My parents have luckily said they will support me regardless, so I'll always have a roof over my head. I can't be bothered to learn complex IT skills, so teaching seems like a good idea. At least, in the UK.

I would hate being a teacher tbh, it's even worse than being behind a monitor for 8 hours a day imo

Ah, you hit the road block with computers too, huh? May I ask what your master's was in? I found out too late that mine required programming knowledge.

I just stumbled on this post. I was a teacher and then got a second masters to get out of teaching but still work in a school. In my opinion teaching is very very dismal and stressful. It depends on where you teach sure...but having to create daily lessons while controlling a classroom full of kids is super hard. Some people do alright, but my personality and the shit I had to endure was way too much.

Principals can be very punishing to teachers. Kids are pretty out of control these days and it can be really hard to get kids to put away their cell phones.

What do you plan to teach? What subject?
