Thinking about taking SN in my parents bathtub?

Tell me honestly what you think of my idea.

Me and my 2 siblings bedrooms and bathroom are in the basement. They don't ever leave the house.

Parents bathroom is upstairs with a tub. They leave almost every weekend, for the whole weekend.

If I time things correctly where the 4 hours is in the middle of the night, then they wouldn't hear or come upstairs (the kitchen is here).

Seems risky if someone comes in bathroom during the 3-4h of your ctb. Why the bathtub and not your bedroom? Plus seems very creepy to die in a bathtub but it's personal. Would you take a last bath during your ctb? At least if you get unconscious you may drown.

Lol no I would not put water in the bathtub. I just like the idea of dying in the tub because in case things get messy (vomit, pee).

I can't do it in my room because I'm afraid my siblings would hear me… vomiting, and agonal breathing when I pass out.

I'm not sure why they would go to use the bathroom upstairs when we have a bathroom downstairs. Although the bathroom is right beside the kitchen, but I would do the CTB in the middle of the night.

Also parents bathroom is on main floor, not basement. First responders won't have to carry my body up a flight of stairs.

It may work ofc but this so sad and creepy imo, passing your last moments on earth vomiting and gasping in an empty bathtub. And being found dead by your siblings there, bathing in your own puke. What an undignified death. I wouldn't wish this end even to my worst enemy. And what a shocking and horrific moment for your siblings when they will find you the next day, they will never see the bathroom the same way. You deserve better. Omg, what a very sad end. Only my opinion ofc.

Also usually an empty tub resonates, if you struggle too much there it may be noisy.

that's awful. i am not suggesting or promoting suicide for anyone, but you'd almost certainly be discovered by your parents or the other siblings, leaving extreme trauma. how old are your siblings also?

i don't understand the situation. are you not allowed to leave the house? are you not able to afford a hotel room?

could you try to get a job and see how that was? maybe making money would make things less bad?

also, if your parents can't afford to sell the house, think about how terrible that will be for them. i'm pro-choice, but this seems unfair to your parents and siblings and i hope you reconsider this plan

Ignore the other replies that say it's a disgusting death, we don't know your situation. There aren't a lot of 'peaceful' deaths anyways.

Yeah. Bathtub or bed covered in puke… what's the difference? At least in the tub it's an easy clean up.

Siblings are older than me. Parents are gone for weekend but are likely the ones who will find me Sunday morning when they come back.

I agree that the bathtub is better because it keeps the mess contained, but, imo, this is something to do in your own home that you're paying for with your own money where you won't be found by family members, once you're old enough to do so.

Your choice ofc but it's really undignified to you imo. At least you learned that you'll need put a blanket in the tub, happy to have at least helped you, lol. When are you planning to do it?

Imo there's no written rules for this. I'm not going to wait that long.
