i read this
"The ingestion of a gram of sodium nitrite has resulted in a severe methemoglobin within half an hour to an hour (as may occur during the consumption of an excessively treated meal) and this methemoglobin disappears in 2 to 6 hours."

do you think that with SN maybe doesnt kill you at your body recover alone with injuries?

Human methemoglobin reducatse system converts methemoglobin back to hemoglobin (with a half life of 1-3 hours, according to medical literature). That means that the methemoglobin levels will have been reduced to half after 1-3 hours.

Your article suggests that in 2-6 hours humans will recover from severe sn poisoning from a non lethal dose of sn without antidote. That is the time for human body to convert methemoglobin back to hemoglobin.

A larger dose of sn then in an excessively treated meal resulting in methemoglobin levels above 70% are lethal.

That combined with an acid reducer makes it even harder for the body to convert it back because you're gonna have too much of it.

Levels must reach 100% else u can be found and recovered. Alot of incident suggest patients revovering from above 90% methemoglobin levels
