• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I cant help but to notice this halo of solemnity about people who post about their final act to ctb in the forum. It is peaceful and reassured even when they are afraid. I envy them as being hesitant and reluctant going back and forth between wanting to die and not wanting to as it has this undignified and chaotic attributes to it. I no longer feel any self respect for myself and even part of me feels i am undeserving a peaceful exit of my own choosing

It's because they have finally made it.

They have reached that point of no return.

Their fate decided for them.

Their pain has come to an end.

Safe journey to all, who CTB …

That is the way I want to be when I come to ctb. I want to feel at peace with it and as relaxed as I possibly could. However it is hard to be like this, as we are programmed to survive. We may want to die but the SI makes it difficult. We all deserve a peaceful exit when the time is right for us. It should be considered a basic human right.

I agree completely about it being a human right. I'm sure it's said here often, but no one chose to be alive here. No one knew the shit show we'd end up in. To me, the least that could be done is either have the world improve *or* give us the option to safely exit if we're done.
