WITH HER ARMS WIDE OPEN...
WITH HER ARMS WIDE OPEN...
WITH HER ARMS WIDE OPEN...
WITH HER ARMS WIDE OPEN...
WITH HER ARMS WIDE OPEN...
With her arms wide open, she welcomed him into her world.
"Oh Wilhelm... time was not kind to any of us."
"Melissa... how..."
"I'm here for you, Wilhelm. For our story. For that which the material reality has denied us. I'm talking about love."
"..."
"Isn't that what you longed for? We can do this. As if there's nothing else in the world, but us."
As she longs for the kiss, he gives a step back. Alas, poor Wilhelm, unable to let the grief and spite behind. His answer comes with a punch. A punch strong enough to let her unconscious. That is his language of love.
YEAR 999. The world as we know it is dying a slow, painful death. The flags are dead, on the to of the poles. No order, no authority, no force. Only absolute nihilism.
FIRE, violence, chaos. The last seal of the Void has been released, and the beasts contained into every man have been unleashed.
KITA and Zion, Moon and Sun, Women and Men, Peace and War. None of that means anything now. The entire known world has united against the Reaper himself: Theodore.
THEODORE was born in 956. He does not know his mother, not even if he had any. His father figure was cold, violent and rigid.
AT FIRST our young boy would only occupy his mind playing in the fields. Oh the fields, the place where his imagination had no end. It was, in a sense, his own world, where he, Theodore, was the Demiurge himself.
THE FIELDS were full of life. Even in the most lonesome corner so many flowers would bloom. LIGHT would fall from heavens, reaching the earth as tiny shafts beneath the dense leafs of the trees.
EVERYTHING talked, everything lived in peace. Theodore would talk to the frogs, to the foxes, and to the flowers. But more than that, with is flute, his magical flute, he would bring harmony into the fields. By playing the flute with his song, the frogs, the foxes and the flowers would unite into a delightful dance, the dance that would bring harmony so forceless, it could only be called natural.
ONE DAY, while Theodore was contemplating the clouds, one thing happened. A butterfly, the most beautiful of butterflies. It was LIGHT, covered by dark spots. Before this magnificent butterfly, even the purest LIGHT would come as grayish.
BUT AS much beautiful our little LIGHT was, it was lost, without concrete direction. It would fly high, and down, without knowing what to do. There was no harmony in it. Theodore looked confused. He wanted to help that little LIGHT. But how could he do?
HE RAN to his little wooden house, grabbed the magical flute, and started singing the song. Soon, flowers, frogs and foxes would dance in harmony.
BUT OUR little LIGHT was still lost, confused, striking at trees,m almost without any will to continue. That would greatly worry our hero, as he was responsible for the harmony of the fields, everything should be happy.
HE, then, had a brilliant idea: to play the flute, this time one note higher. C became D, D became E, and so on.
IT WORKED! Our LIGHT became harmonious. It would fly in spirals of LIGHT up, each time higher, and higher, and higher... until it reached the top of the tree.
THEODORE looked relieved. He managed to help the butterfly.
BUT IT was at this moment, that a wet, disgusting lizard came, and grabbed our little LIGHT. He would then eat it, slowly.
THE HARMONY has gone, as Theodore looked in absolute shock, as terror would fill his eyes.
THAT IMAGE would haunt him for the rest of his life.
