I don't use them. But I try to improve my language on here a little bit. In highschool (there are 3 types of highschools in Germany, I was in the best of the 3 tiers).
I had very good marks in English. There were marks from 1-15. 15 was basically a 0,75 on an old scale from 1-6. Some teachers said they don't give this mark because you had to be literally absolutely perfect. In German, English and history maybe in some other subjects I got my 15 points from time to time. But some of them might were part of pity because I had a psychosis in one year. I think I earned more than the half in a fair way. My history teacher was extremely lazy and I worked my ass off. I worked way more than her and I believe she probably did not even read my exams and just dropped the 15 points. It haunted us because in the official final exam eventually we all had horrible marks because seemingly the stuff she taught us was just wrong. But history lessons in Germany are quite interesting.
In English I got 14 points most of the time. In listenening comprehension I was horrible. I only got 11 points but I think my hearing isn't the best. I listened to often to way too loud music as a teen, it was my personal risky hypomanic behavior. Others take drugs instead. Lol. In my oral exam (you know on English this sounds so wrong...). I got the perfect mark 15 and a friend of mine envied me. I had a different partner who didn't speak English well. I was really hypomanic and talked extremely fast like a waterfall in seemingly a good way. I think though my spoken English also deteriorated a lot.
I still like the English language but I think my English skills have become so much worse. And tbh I don't put that much effort in the language I use on here. I like to watch English videos on Youtube. I like to talk with native speakers on here. English skills enable a lot on the internet. It gives you access to good content. There were AI auto-translations on Youtube but they were horrible. I also like English idioms and auto-translation doesn't function with them. But for the texts of Slavoj Zizek I use gemini to translate it. I struggle to understand the text even on my native language. And I have to say it works way better than google translate most of the time. I enjoy having some English skills. I also learned another foreign language but I forgot almost everything of this other language. It simply wasn't useful to me.
What is your preference?
