Slipknot is the commonly used one. But I think hangman's noose easily tightens around your neck and makes you pass out easily. Also you can't release from it even if you want to.
Do you mean the execution style hangman's knot? Coz that doesn't tighten easily. It's not designed to tighten, but to break the neck when dropping from a big height.Slipknot. I've read somewhere that the more complicated the knot, the harder it is for it to tighten. In that same PDF, I read that the slip knot was only second to forgoing knots altogether and using a metal ring.Similar threads
