The end of civilization might prompt a lot more people to the bus

This showed up in my youtube suggestions and I gave it a quick watch. In the video, a 1970's computer predicts the end of civilization to be around the year 2040 due to the decline in resources, the environment getting worse.

I was going to post this in offtopic but I think it's relevant in this subforum because as the earth gets worse in general, and society begins to devolve, I think suicide will become normalized. A lot of people who can't relocate or start a new life elsewhere when environmental and economic conditions worsen will probably just choose to leave this life.
