Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I live in Germany and I had to think about the parellels.

We were once very well respected. Other people promised us a bright future. We were looked up to because we were known for being eager and disciplined. Though, our economic situations declined. Our merits lost their values. We don't have a real and realistic plan to improve. Our attempts to stabilize backfire. People lost hope in us. People are leaving without looking back. We had a rough past but our future is unknown and uncertain.

However, I have to say my personal situation is probably worse than the fate of the country. I think most Germans are economically far better of than me. I am not sure what actually would symbolize me committing suicide. Maybe a government led by the far-right AfD which made an Invasion by Russia more likely. And there is something off with the comparison. I think many Germans could live a half-way decent life if they adapted to a far-right government. And I could imagine people would do that. The rich people don't have to fear much. They will always be privileged and can leave the country if shit hits the fan.

Don't live in Germany, but I'd rather live there than the US. Don't think things are any worse there than anywhere else in Europe. Wouldn't actually mind living there.

idk it fucking sucks in the uk, severely underfunded snd ineffectusl medical system, more and more surveillance state policies, the far right is massively on the rise, every government constistently fucks over younger people to benefit pensioners, trans rights have been going severely downhill very fast, idfk.

The stupid privacy rules when there are MUCH better ways of doing what they want to do lol. Labour is probably going to get kicked out again (no basis, just a feeling). Also, pensioners aren't even getting (state) good pensions still so it fucks everyone other than the elite
