The one tough thing about SS .... I may have lost 3 friends, but may never know. I talk with many of you through chat or message and I enjoy it very much. 3 people recently just disappeared who said they were thinking of ctb. It is hard, the not knowing, did they, did they just stop coming here, kinda some unanswered questions. I understand that is the risk one runs talking to people in a forum like this, may they have found the peace they are seeking if that's the case.

They could just need some time to recharge. I do that a lot. Some people on here came back after being away for almost a year even! And I like to think that even if they're gone they've surely found peace. What would worry me is if they were detained or kept in a ward. That is worse than death.

There were a few people I used to talk to from this site a lot. Getting to know them, sharing things and enjoying their company.
I've lost contact with all of them now. I'll drop them each a message on occasion just to let them know I'm still thinking of them.
Not knowing what happened to them is a lot more unsettling than anything else.That's how it is on this site. Don't get attached to anyone (if you can), because for most people this site is just a temporary stop... It sucks, because this site is the only site these days where I find people that I like and can tolerate. And I can relate to many on here and they are understanding... But someone can just disappear suddenly, and you might never know - are they recovering? Did they ctb?Last edited:

Yeah, many people do just disappear from the forum and it is unknown what has happened. There is many goodbye threads, but in many cases you just don't really know. I just hope that those people are in a better place now.Similar threads
