SN method is much better. If you're from Ukraine and seeking euthanasia methods we should cooperate and test SN method. I bought 0.5 kg of cheap SN but I don't use it cause I'm not sure if it's of good enough quality.
I can't use method with SN, very many problems, and Death will not be peaceful, and if it doesn't work out and I become disabled , I need to search another way to CTB.
I considered drowning, but it takes quite a while to lose consciousness. First, your SI will kick in and you'll hold your breath as long as possible. Then, you start breathing water and it'll burn, even if it's freshwater. From what I've researched, its ~5 minutes to lose consciousness, but that 5 minutes will be the longest, most terrifying, and then painful minutes of your life. At that point, your primitive lizard brain is in control, and it will not want to die. My original plan involved drinking a shit ton of alcohol beforehand to turn everything into a fuzz, but that may not work with your handcuff idea. Also, it may not help with SI and fear, there's not really any data on the experiences of blackout drunk people surviving drowning. I've decided to go with the night night method, if I can work up the nerve to really do it.
@skyunderthesea why you think that 5 minutes need to lose consciousness?
I read that after
Once a person starts swallowing water, it takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes to lose consciousness. Yeah, it hurts, but for a 100% chance of death, I'm willing to endure it for 1 minute and be gone forever...
That won't work with the handcuffs—do you mean combining alcohol and handcuffs?
As I see it, if you're sober and put on the handcuffs the way I described, a person will start drowning almost immediately, and once they run out of air and start swallowing water, it should take anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Yeah, two minutes of agony is a long time, but damn it, for some reason I could bring myself to do it—but when I think about hanging myself, my reptilian brain stops me, even though hanging is much easier...
@skyunderthesea Do you mean five minutes from the very start of drowning? As far as I'm concerned, if you start drowning and let all the air out right away, it should all be over in a couple of minutes

How I See My Method
Once I'm handcuffed, I'll immediately start flailing and drowning. I think it'll take a couple of minutes.
Then I'll go underwater, and once I run out of air—in about 1–2 minutes—I'll lose consciousness. The worst of the agony will last those 2 minutes, followed by unconsciousness and then death...
