Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

planning to ctb in less than 2 weeks now, I lost any meaningful friendships I once had and my mum wants me to study all day so much of my remaining life is a fucking misery. however I do still enjoy partaking in these forums and it's one of the only things passing the time for me now. thank you all for that!

Why does it matter what she wants? Mine would like me to do the same so that I go on and become a judge, but it's just impossible for me right now. Firstly because I don't really like the idea of being a judge, secondly because I haven't taken a real risk to do what I'd really want and my mind is filled with what ifs.
I saw you like coding. Have you considered setting up a portfolio and applying for jobs? You have nothing to lose at this point and it could turn your environment around.

even if I did that, it would be more long-term and would not fix my other issues. I'm too exhausted with life to even consider not catching the bus at this point.

I won't say you must change your mind. But if you do and you're not so sure about short-term exit anymore, give it some thought. Minus one issue is better than having all of them, right?
Sorry, you want to CTB but I have to link my fav Beachy Head vid and song,
What does your mum want you to study and what job were you doing or looking at doing as I had to remove 5 years of my career history as I was dismissed through ill health and I said I didn't want new employers knowing I was ill so they said, we will give you a basic reference which means I won't get hired as it looks like I was sacked.
The fickleness of friendships usually gets revealed when there's personal hardship. Sorry to hear about your mother invalidating you. I hope all goes well when the time comes .
Just in case you didn't know:
"The Beachy Head Chaplaincy Team conducts regular day and evening patrols of the area in attempts to locate and stop potential cliff jumpers. Workers at the pub and taxi drivers are also on the lookout for people contemplating suicide"
"After a steady increase in deaths between 2002 and 2005, there were only seven fatalities in 2006, a marked decrease. The Maritime and Coastguard Agency, whose Coastguard Rescue Teams are responsible for the rescue of injured jumpers and the recovery of the dead, attributed the reduction to the work of the Chaplaincy Team and good coverage of services by the local media."

I feel the same way about this forum, it really is a great place. I'm sorry life has been cruel to you. I wish you the best if this is the option you truly want. Beachy Head certainly is a nice place and I wish I had the courage for it.

must take some serious guts to do that jump with the intention of surviving! My mum doesn't mind what I study as long as it's an academic subject, so she doesn't mind me following my passions in computer science, but that still includes maths which I totally hate. And that's really unfortunate, I'm sorry that happened to you.

Thanks for this information, I know it's patrolled a fair amount but I'm going to do it at night and I think I'm gutsy enough that if I see someone coming towards me I can just jump without having to ready myself first, so I don't think I have much to worry about from any "rescuers."

Yeah, I hate maths as well but you know if you're unsure of a calculation search for it on YouTube I found it invaluable as there is always someone explaining the best way to get results.
