Testing SN...help pls

Ive read that opening SN and having it contact air turns it into nitrate. How are you then supposed to test it?
I managed to get SN from a spanish wrbsite (im spanish). just google "comprar" which means "buy" and you will see it. initials are QD. seems pretty legit and i dont see why would they make such a complex scam for so little money...but who knows

It only degrades very slowly. You can open it briefly. Keep it stored in a dark place at room temperature. Keep moisture out. If you plan on keeping it for a long time you can decide to test it again before you ctb.

thats the issue...i also dont know where to buy it from. i found that supplier in spain but im not sure if its reliable. sorry. lets see if someone sheds some light
