I took 2 handful of yew leaves that I crushed and let in a small jam jar. The dose is somewhat higher than last time I tried.

I'm doing this test out of desperation, I don't think it is a lethal dose but I want to know if that method is actually legit in case I'm going in for good.

Last time I tried I had some severe shaking all over my body, and accelerated heart rate. But I could control the stress.

My heart pumps faster, this is only adrenaline kicking in, should take 1 to 2 hours to get symptoms (I'll be sleeping).

Good luck. How are you? I found the tincture so difficult to make

Big disapointment, woke up with a minor headache. This time absolutely no symptoms.

I need to try a higher dosage next time, if nothing happens again it simply means that the effectiveness is reduced when the leaves are not fresh.
Again the leaves were cut into small parts, I picked them up in January.

I think I better brew a tea, but I read that the only way to extract the taxines is with alcohol (not the one you drink, but spyritus).

I found the tincture so difficult to make

I can't make the tincture now, too exposed, but I move soon, I will try to make the tincture once I'm settled.

Yes brewing a tincture is much of hassle and tricky, but it is actually the method scientists use to successfully extract the taxines.

2nd test this time I hope for something! It has to work, it worked one time. Otherwise tincture... A pain in the ass to brew.

Had a hard time getting the leave down, but its much easier when they are cut and downed with water.

Ok so yesterday I had some symptoms of typical yew tree poisoning after eating about 20 to 30g the night before. So I took 2 nights in a row yew leaves.

The thing I did forget is that the symptoms can appear very quickly after ingestion, but also much later.

I was in the car (didnt drive) when the symptoms appeared. Here are the symptoms:
Coldness
Stomach pain (feeling you're about to throw up)
Felt dizzy and confused
My fingers felt really numb, like having a needle in them, that was intense actually.
Accelerated heart rate

To this moment I have sometimes chest pain (heart side, so lefthand side).

Symptoms are really weak and I had a hard time getting the leaves down. I'm not sure if I gonna continue by eating the leaves.

That damn tincture seems so complicated and you need high level alcohol, don't know how to get like 95%. Brewing a tea I'm not sure as I read that only the volatile oils are extracted through hit water, taxine can only be extracted with alcohol. But then again I read some articles about people succeding by brewing yew tea.

Any ideas anyone? If you have some infos don't hesitate, please share.
