Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Death never turned on me

I had no idea about this day until I saw it flooded all over social media. I was looking through many posts about it and became very nauseated. It's as if these "allys" get off on making it about themselves and it really makes me sick. Something about seeing so many of them post about somebody's suicide and making themselves the star of the show essentially just doesn't sit well with me emotionally. Why are so many people like this? Why is someone taking their own life a time for you to highlight your best qualities? Sometimes I wish people actually truly cared about fixing mental health but they really don't. It's sad, and doesn't motivate anyone to stay alive :(

They say people care but when you reach out all you get is platitudes. It's stupid. It backfires

Many people can be very selfish and only pretend to care just to make themselves feel better. It's just the way that people are. Any kind of suicide prevention that exists in this world is just prolonging suffering, it doesn't take away any of the reasons why people want to ctb in the first place. Suicide should be respected as a personal decision rather than something that must always be prevented.
