I will be attempting suicide by snakebite envenomation within the next year, either by exotic or native species means, the former being far more promising.
I attempted this, this year. It failed. But not due to the lack of venom potency. Rather, my own incompetence.
Within the last six years, only two reports of such have made headlines. Surprising, - its a very effective method of CTB.
Some species of African-Asian Naja (Cobra) species developing specific envenomation techniques designed for human beings; co-evolutionizing alongside us.
It is truly fascinating. I have such a deep respect for these animals.
It is the perfect cocktail of Death.

It's a novel idea for sure. And great if you don't want your suicide to be detected as suicide. I don't imagine it will be a peaceful ens by any means though. Unless you know of one that has nembutal venom. I'd be all over that ha.

I'm curious if you're willing to share what about this option appeals to you over others (as your username and tag make clear), and what your intended process would be.

Off top of my head: would you be in ownership of the snake, visiting one in the wild or captivity, just purchasing the venom itself, etc? (where you know more than me about the lethality and safety, I'll leave questions about that part aside)

So you say u have tried this before. On the scale of 1-10 what was the pain like? Was it the type of venom that ate ur flesh or stopped ur heart?
