• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Unfortunately, most of us here are in the same position: we can't get our hands on our preferred method. I'll just speak for myself here & say that I am grateful to have found this site so that I can learn about viable methods, and I have chosen the one that comes closest to my preferred method from the suicide resource compilation…

I can't say I'm happy for you because I wish life for everyone. But my life has become completely untenable. But I can't CTB without someone to help me beacuse I can't figure out the methods. So I'm stuck living

There is nothing wrong with choosing to live! Suicide should be the absolute last resort! Any reason to choose life is valid! That being said, what I'm pretty sure I'm seeing in the above reply seems like someone who is being deeply dishonest, mostly with themselves. I could be mistaken, so if I am, I apologize. Choosing life is great! I think it's fabulous as long as we are being honest with ourselves about why.

I'm not sure if you're referring to me or someone else. Personally, I desperately want to die to stop me abusing any further people I supposedly love.

You.
Exactly, the key word there is supposedly.
No, that's completely disingenuous.
It's just another excuse, just like the excuses you likely make for the abuse and for your crimes.
Either you'll get tired of your own bullshit eventually & get honest with yourself & decide you're just as capable as anyone else here is to figure it out, or you won't, and you'll continue to cause misery.

If this was a viable method, disgusting gluttonous Americans would be dropping like flies left and right.

I had a similar idea when I turned 18 except I wanted to eat fatty foods to clog my arties and induce a heart attack. So stupid. Even now I'll have this crazy impulse to eat something terrible as if this one dish will kill me.

It is always so interesting to read where someone would "love" to get cancer, well let me say this from my own experience, it was HELL and I would never wish it upon anyone ever.

Walter
Yes, people have some wild thoughts. I read some of the most wild unbelievable thoughts on this forum (e.g. fantasizing about burning to death). I can only take this to understand they have not experienced extreme pain.

..Although, fair enough I suppose. I imagine anyone that has survived a gunshot wound to the face felt the pain was far worse than it was worth. Yet those of us who haven't experienced that still research the best way to CTB with it.

It is tricky weighing the pain of living vs the pain of trying to die.

Kinda random, but were you a high school teacher in your past? W.W.

I did know someone who died in her sleep of a silent heart attack. She was fit/active/muscular & was on the Atkins diet. But it's one of those things that happens to those who don't want it when they aren't trying, not to those of us who do when we are.

As a former morbidly obese person, i strongly suggest you to not attempt this. You will be miserable for the rest of your long life and suffer painful comorbidities and nasty prolonged stuff such as diabetic sores, maggots in the folds, lymphoedema, gallbladder pain, sleep apnea, colon polyps, GERD, agoraphobia, cancer, addiction, blood clotting issues, and the list goes on...

Bariatric surgery was my only option. Next month is my 9 year surgiversary.

Thank you. You are of course correct. But I am already breathtakingly miserable.

But surely one of these comorbities could kill me? (well that's what I'm hoping for)

Ok, so it's going to take a long time... but if I set about focussing on eating hard core... and just eat and eat and eat.... I wonder if in ten years perhaps I will die?......

I know I know I'm grasping at straws.... when I google it says obesity only decreases lifespan by 10 years...
I think it is a no method, My father is extremely fat and he is still there, I feel you because I am same trying to find a method, but this is a no method

yeah, I've come to that conclusion. i mean look at my 600 pound life. 150 or so participants, 10+ years later 125 are still alive .
