Suicidal haiku

I wrote this a while back; haven't shared it at all for fear of getting locked up in the nut house. Figured this might be a good place to put it out there. It doesn't have a title because I suck at coming up with titles.

Lost in my own mind
Nothing but fear and loathing
Seemingly no hope

My time on this earth
Swiftly coming to an end
Sooner; not later

Holidays - empty
Reminder of things once had
Antithetical

Not meant for this world
I never have been, it seems
At least that's clear now

Who I truly am
No one knows or understands
Undesirable

I love Haiku, one of my favourite forms. The pure form is very difficult to get right though.

THE KEEPER O' KEYS

Shepherd of thy dreams,

Guardian of thy fortress,

Lay bare thy psyche.


Liberate thy thought,

Exculpate thy transgression,

Relinquish thy rage.


Appease thy fever,

Mitigate thy asylum,

Redeem thy spectre.
