I am very unimpressed by the songs/videos I have found on YouTube. They usually have regret etc in them. I think I can make some thing much more depressing and flow really well without the whole regret etc. What are your suggestions for going about this task?

Normally, songs are just stories being told through the medium of music much like poetry.
Maybe a song about your experiences or a made up character who is going but leaving behind a message for loved ones to respect their decision and trying to make them understand why each person has the right to choose and that nobody should have to gone on suffering.
Regardless, good luck!How about a song where someone rubs it in your face about how happy and great their life is? They talk about how wonderful it is for them and how they even know there's no way it will be for you. Good lives are only for them. Not for you.
Rub it in. Have the song say everyday you stick around is only widening the gap between them and you. They continue winning bigger and bigger. The only way they can lose a little is if you kill yourself and are no longer around for them to kick anymore, even though they have others.

In that song the person can't find a reason to live. I want my song to be rational suicide or the person could find a reason to live they would just rather die, they don't regret their choice etc.
