I saw the interview where his mother spoke. I also saw the one where Sam was questioned about all of this. Some say he was acting suspicious about the whole thing.

But you have to realize that in the case of high profile CEOs like Sam Altman they will be on guard regarding these things even if they had nothing to do with them. These are all possible scandals and they will talk to their pr agent and others before commenting as well as choosing their words carefully.

If I had to guess, I would say he didn't have anything to do with it because I think he has too much to lose. But can never be sure. I won't be surprised either way.The pressure in these jobs is pretty intense. I won't be surprised if he took his own life either.

I kind of doubt it because,Would he really have an enemy that wants to kill him?
He's a tech guy. So it seems unlikely. Of course, you never know. But I know a lot of people in Highly competitive colleges or schools or professions that take their own lives because they don't want to deal with the work pressure or deadlines anymore.

Let's not forget Japan's karoshi.

Just because he is a tech guy does not mean ha has never had any enemy in his past

No, what I'm saying is, well, most people have enemies, but enemies that want to kill them? No, not really.
So going with that line of thinking as well as the fact that these guys have to deliver so much in so little time at their job and all the pressure and the difficulties that they face, the most likely answer is suicide.
