Help stupid question (the PPH)

so im new around here, and have been eyeing the SN method. I understand all of the information but I honestly have no clue what the PPH is, and as it is recommended to read over it, im sorta confused as to what im missing

sorry for the dumb question, just wanted to cover all my bases
