• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i'm still currently in a limbo where i can't kill myself and where i'm living as if i could die, which i can't, so life is pretty horrible. i guess this is just what's going to keep happening until i get a suicide method, but that might not happen until like maybe months from now and i probably won't leave my parents anytime soon either. i think that the natural course of events that will happen during this time, is a mental breakdown.

anyways, just got a bergson book, feeling okay, will read it.

I'm in a similar situation. What I do is usually enjoying little pleasures. Reading seems both pleasurable and constructive, so good for you. Bergson doesn't sound like something a suicidal person would read, but I'm stuck with what I've learnt in high school about him.

tch-haha he's really not but so far i'm feeling pretty good about him

just reading some of his letters and his essay on laughter rn unfortunately i'm not super confident that any reading i'll do will be super constructive but i'll persist

EDIT: i'm literally crying because of how kind bergson is to william james and even to his detractors TwT
