Struggling with changement of avatar

Im not here for very long, but i learn to recognize people with their avatar, infortunatly my memory is not very good with name, so i can usually remenber people because their profile picture, but lately a few people change their avatar, and their name told me something, but since its a different profile picture my brain struggle to make the connection with it :(
Sorry if it was a bit of a useless post, but i feel like i wanted to say it "out loud"

This is probably better suited for the off topic section. But yea I know what you mean, I don't bother changing my own avatar for similar reasoning.
