I understand how you feel. I plan on going on Christmas Eve/Morning and that isn't very long from now. Part of me is excited because I can finally get rest and stop mind from speaking. The other part is nervous and sad because despite my extreme longing to leave this world, there are people and animals I adore and to not ever be able to see them again, well, it makes me quite sad. More sad than normal that is. Only thing I can tell you is to have courage AND MAKE SURE this is absolutely the right solution for you.

@avoid_slow_death your name says it all. I'd just be looking at a painful horrific slow death with much suffering and pain if I don't leave now. It's not what I would want if there were other better options but there aren't. What's so difficult for me is that I'll have to have my dog and cat who are my absolute everything put to sleep before I go. I am alone and they are older and not in good health. I have no one to take them that I trust and keep them together. I can not leave them behind to suffer. But it's all so extremely agonizing.
