Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Hello SS family, I have a loving family, but I'm still battling with my inner demons, including past trauma. Pretending to be fine is starting to take its toll. I'm going to see a trauma therapist soon, but I'm worried if it will benefit me, due to all the hurt.

I did EMDR and it helped me a shit ton, I have way less flashbacks and entering certain places is much easier now.

Awesome! How long did it take for the flashbacks to become less?

maybe like a month or 2, I just kinda forgot about it after some sessions
That's great! Was it almost like you were reliving the trauma during the sessions? I hope I can get to that point because it's killing me.

Yea that's not the pretty part, also you're reliving it more the days after, almost like a hangover.
I know multiple people who did EMDR and they all greatly benifitted from it. - Hope it can work for you aswell :)

I did EMDR and it didn't do anything for me. I've heard it works for a lot of people though. Might depend on how many separate traumatic experiences a person has... I have dozens upon dozens so it's probably too much for any treatment to really help.

I've sometimes heard that the older version of EMDR didnt work with people, but the newer version did.
So that's also a variable lol

But I don't know the specifics.
