"Noone can hear you scream when you're drowning"

Lately I've been trying to stay awake and staying out bed even though I know my body needs the rest. I'll stay up till 4-7am even though I have to get up in the morning for work. Reason being is everytime I think about the next day, I'll get anxious and I just want to spend my time in the current day for as long as I can. I stopped looking forward for my future and I don't wish to start a new day at all. Even though I'm extremely exhausted and my eyes get droopy, the thought of sleeping and waking up in the next morning haunts me. Does anyone else felt this way?

I totally understand, the thought of my future terrifies me.

I don't understand how anyone can plan ahead and know what they want for their future.

I did the same when I was in hospital and I didn't want the next day to start.

I never want to wake up the next day either. It feels like the only thing I have to look forward to is the usual wage slavery, but when I get home that night, I don't want it to end, but by then it's pretty much over anyway because I do second shift. The only day where I might feel differently is the day I finally CTB. That might be a good thing to wake up for.

I do the same. i feel as if though time moves on too quickly, its worrisome! staying awake at night gives me the illusion of time slowing down, giving me time to catch up with it.
