Not sure if being sleep deprived would actually help your ability to fall asleep in this situation. There will most likely already be a substantial amount of anxiety just do to the nature of the situation, regardless.

I don't think it will speed it up, i guess when you take it your heart will race anyway and you won't be tired and the side effects could possibly be worse.Some people seem to be out in under 4 or 5 minutes, some faster than that. So I don't think you need to torture yourself.Similar threads
