Sometimes dreams are better than this

Do you ever feel that your dreams are more comforting than this so called reality? I do. I slept most of the day today to escape the pain and I found myself in these really eccentric but fun dreams. I even met deceased loved ones and people I knew from the past. Then I woke up to a shit load of diarrhea (I have stomach flu). Then I was like oh, here we fucking go again!

Yeah, that's very true. I feel similar.

Yes, some of my dreams are good and extraordinary in a nice way. Others are nightmares in a lot of ways. When I wasn't suicidal my dreams were always an awesome adventure, something to look forward to.

My dreams hardly ever make sense. They generally have no context at all, and if they do have a meaning then it is difficult to understand. The content within them - the people and places for example - are often mixed up; in some cases the dreams are a total mess - beyond just weird. Despite this they are sometimes more entertaining than the reality that I wake up to.

They are not all like this though. Many times the dreams will be in a more believable environment, but with just strange details or characters.

basically all of my dreams are better than the real world.

No doubt my "life" in my dreams is better than my real life and that's why I want to sleep a lot. I can't stand reality

I do have some dreams that can be classed as nightmares and some strange dreams, featuring people from my past who I never really think about in my waking moments. Despite this I just love the act of being asleep, it's like a trial run for death and a break from life. I just think I experience more interesting stuff in dreams as my life is pretty monotonous.
