What does SN look like? I just received my order, and it kinda looks like table salt. It's a 2 lb jar that cost me about $50 USD, it does say sodium nitrite on the bottle. I purchased it on a well known shopping site.

I looked at it in the day light and it does have a yellow tint.

Unfortunately my first purchase turned out to be sodium nitrAte. Wasn't a total waste I gave it to my sister and told her I bought it for her garden
