Is anyone here with anxiety so bad that they struggle with even something as simple as posting? I am currently working on getting new meds for it cause I won't be able to leave the house if this continues (I'm fine leaving only if there are no people where I'm going). Those with extreme anxiety, How are you doing?

Yeah I get that really bad as well. I hope the meds help when you get them. My understanding is there are lots of different meds they can try you on so if the first set don't work don't feel disheartened, they can often end up rotating you through different ones to find the right one.

I try and believe myself to be invisible when leaving the house. It helps that people usually don't even glance at you. If that's not working, I blast music in headphones, disassociate hard and think of other things if I can. This is no psychology advice just survival guerrilla warfare with the mind.
As for posting, pretty much everyone here is in the same position, struggling, and will relate. But I get It's hard, it took me a long while.
Good luck getting those meds!

It took me a while to find my current medication, and I'm incredibly grateful for finally finding something that helps. I'm committed to trusting the process even if the first few options don't work out, I know there are other possibilities.

Whenever I'm outside, I turn up my favorite songs to help me dissociate from the overwhelming surroundings. I try to imagine that I'm invisible even though it's a constant challenge. Your insight really resonates with me; thank you for sharing it.

Group chats can be incredibly exhausting to deal with. My sister talks about managing her many group chats and friends like it's a science. A skill I find almost unfathomable since I often feel overwhelmed by them. She's such an extrovert that her world seems completely different from mine. I also constantly feel like people are staring at me, which makes venturing outside even more daunting.

I used to have this and still do. Especially on public forums (like this one, in contrast to social media like tumblr). But I think it was something that I exposed myself to and gradually I've lost that anxiety. It still comes up a lot sometimes when I haven't posted a lot but on good days I can post.

I hope you find meds that help. I haven't tried any that have helped. But atleast now, overtime, I don't get that sweaty, world-ending feeling when I would post.

Same here, I struggle to stay active on forums/social media due to my anxiety. I'm struggling a lot right now but my anxiety will probably lessen in the following months since I plan on going on medication soon.
Hope you find the right meds soon :)
