I got my firearm certificate last week and am planning to make a purchase soon, but just worried about passing the background check because that takes 10-15 days to process.
I'm in school rn so it's difficult to make time for both and keep up the façade, but I've managed somehow.
I was able to buy some SN finally as a backup plan and the corn bags and gorilla tape per the nite nite method, but the bags are smaller than I imagined. I don't know if I ordered the right ones.
For now my safest bet is the firearm if it all goes clearly, but I'm worried about any legal repercussions should I fail given that gun control is really tight here and it's illegal to carry a loaded firearm in your car or glove compartment. I don't have my own place so I'm planning to drive to a really remote place. I still haven't figured where exactly given my county is so large and the most remote off the grid locations are possibly some 70 miles.
I'm so close, but I'm scared of failing. I don't want to face jail time if I get caught. I don't know if that's what police do to suicidal people with firearms. I've been researching incase of that never event, but nothing much so far. I think worst thing they would lock me up in a ward. But at least that isn't jail.
So I'm wondering...is it worth taking the risk with the firearm method?
Any advice on areas I can ctb with the least amount of risk? I'm so close. The closest i have ever been.

As a desperate resort, does anyone know if phenobarbital is available on the dark web? I've never used the dark web, but I'm down to try as long as I don't get scammed. If I can find a way to get my hands on phenobarbital, that would be sublime.
