Are there any OTC alternatives to meto? I live in Canada and I can't get meto without a prescription and my sn is coming in just a few days if all goes well so I really don't want to have to wait for an appt with my doctor.

I plan to still fast and use an anti acid. Is there an anti acid that works best / a decent alternative for meto I can get otc?

There's one called prochlorperazine I think. Search stans guide to confirm. It's in there. It's available otc but has higher chance of negative side effects as meto. Not sure why it's available otc under those circumstances but it is. Its a buccal tablet to be melted in your upper lip. Bucastem N is one of the brand names.

nothing will really be as good as meto however theres a couple of others that are apparently suitable alternatives like dromperidone, olanzapine, alizapramide, chlorpromazine, and as someone already mentioned prochlorperazine. I have no idea if these are any easier to get but you could always do a quick google or see if places prescribe online. a lot of medication prescribed for mental health also acts as an anti emetic so if youre on any google them because who knows. either way, its not the be all end all. the point of meto is to stop you throwing up im pretty sure or at least throw up less but if you have a second glass at hand you should be fine without. thats what i was going to do

I keep seeing people recommend Omeprazole, but that's weird bc according to google it DELAYS gastric emptying instead of speeding it up? Can someone explain this to me please? How it's an alternative to Meto?
