Yes PPH 2025 doesn't refer ibuprofen and painkillers in the SN protocol section. I don't know if older versions included it or not.

But why? Previous versions included ibuprofen.
I have no idea. It's written why antacid and beta blockers are no longer recommended but there is nothing about ibuprofen.

Hi! Propranolol is actually considered "optional," not "no longer recommended." My opinion is that tachycardia can be truly unpleasant. I've experienced it more than once, and I can say with certainty that it's much worse than feeling your heart racing like during intense physical activity, as I've read several times here on SS. Beta-blockers are included in my regimen, and they also lower blood pressure and have a calming effect. I take Nebivolol every day, as prescribed. It works, and I've never noticed any side effects. I'll also take ibuprofen anyway, but I don't see why I should remove it from the list. They're "accessories," but in my opinion, important.

PPH 2025 literally says "This is no longer advised." But as many users have succeeded with propranolol, it will not hinder the protocol. It's good to take the medication when you have the problem of tachycardia, I believe.

It's probably as you say, but I think it's better to protect yourself from the risk. Tachycardia can lead to panic

It's ok my man.
I see it used when no other that ngs are available but benzo seems a better solution if you have access to them

Ibuprofen was removed because it's redundant, simple as that. It's a painkiller made for mild to moderate pain. It doesn't do anything against the level of discomfort that SN puts you in.

A heavy dosage of benzos is way superior.

Sure. But what if you can't get benzos? Is ibuprofen completely useless?
