Is sn on Amazon a good choice to buy as it's only food grade.

Food grade is fine as long as you add just a little more SN to compensate for the lower percentage in the mix.

I was going to by it from APC Pure, are there lots of suppliers on amazon?

The food grade I bought was 99.9%. Well worth it, mine was from ebay though.
