SN method in a hotel room?

Is the SN method acceptable for a hotel room? Can't people who are vomiting be heard through the walls? Does SN with the antimetics not make you vomit?

Rxrx877 took SN in a hotel room, and as far as we know it worked.

I think you just have to be careful. Help probably wouldn't be called for just because someone heard you throwing up - you could just be ill or hungover. People who were found early in hotel rooms tried to get up after taking the SN and were crashing around the room (from what I've read), or they called for help.

I don't plan to move from the bed after I take the SN, and will have a trashcan nearby in case I have to throw up... though the antiemetics should prevent that. Rxrx didn't throw up or even feel nauseous as far as we know (unless they were unable to tell us at that point).

Though I should add if I lived alone I would do it at home. A hotel is really my only option.

Ideally, if everything goes well. rxrx was only in the chat room for half an hour after they took the SN.... said they were going to sleep. Only had a headache and a sore throat as far as we know. Taking the anti-emetics and Tagamet are important to help you avoid throwing up, as well as fasting beforehand.

Rxrx rented an expensive suite, put note on door of bedroom in suite. From my research online, older hotels tend to have thicker walls. Also, a call to the hotel can help determine the wall thickness. I used to work at an expensive hotel, and I could stay there for free. Basic rooms were $500/night, I could hear ppl sneezing in the next room. Also people would call to request a room in a more quiet area.

Personally I would do it at home, a member went into the forest to ctb with SN.

It can take any amount of time from 30 minutes to 8 hours. I think it rarely takes a full 8 hours though...

If you take antiemetics, people shouldn't hear you, right?

I have the same concern as OP. I wanted to do it in my house and just fall asleep, but people mentioned how traumatizing it would be if my family were the ones to find me. There is also not really any secluded area for me to safely go to.

I can't remember but @rxrx877 didn't take a several day regimen did they? It was just a stat dose right?

Right. They didn't even have any meto, they used valium, tagamet and zofran beforehand.
