I tried to drink SN today. Everything was in place, was following Stan's stat guide, but my SI is not letting me proceed.
I know I have no doubts about this. But my fucking SI is always like this. It is always way too overpowering. So I was wondering if it was possible to arrange a less "direct" method of putting the SN in my blood? Does anyone know if I can mix it with food? Or any other method that fools me into thinking I'm not gonna die? I would really appreciate it.
Thank you for your insights in advance,

I won't mind drinking when the time comes, more concerned about possible abdominal pain.

You could try overdosing on Peperamis I guess?

SS Peperamis

But seriously maybe on chips or something? I seem to remember reading about some historical case where the family used the wrong salt on their dinner and all died.

I doubt you could feel like you're 'just eating chips' or whatever though, and there's a good chance it might not work and then you've wasted SN.

With all the advice I've seen here on fasting, wouldn't taking it with food defeat that purpose? I imagine at the very least it would take longer. Could be worth a try if you've got enough for a back up, but if you know it's on your food, I'm not sure your SI would calm much

Based on everything I have read, including Stan's guide, taking Sn with food would increase risk of vomiting and of failing to ctb. SI is a probelm for all methods, it's not easy to overcome.

IMO, it won't make a lick of difference. You'll still know it's in your food. The problem isn't in the delivery mechanism, it's what's being delivered. You must get over your SI. You need to reach the point of no hope. It's that simple.

Thank you for your replies everyone!
I've decided to let more despair settle in so it overwhelms my SI.

Can anyone tell me what does SI stand for? I keep thinking Suicide Ideation but it doesn't fit the context it's being talked in

Around here it is used for "Survival instinct".
At the doctor's office it's "suicidal ideation".

I agree.
As long as your brain is trying to save you, it'll be very difficult to eat as much as 25g of SN (or salt for that matter). It's a significant enough amount that can't just be hidden in food without making it terribly salty.

You could try and weigh out 25 g of table salt to have an idea of the amount.

SI is a tricky beast. It's a good thing to have, but it really can get in the way.
For myself it usually takes a few hours or even days from "being ready to go" until I am actually, truly ready.
going back and forth. Looking at (your method of choice). Putting it back on the counter. Wandering. Thinking. Hoping. Despairing. Hoping again.

It's a process and it takes time.
Allow yourself that time and you'll be ready at some point.
The good thing is: when you are truly ready, you aren't sad about leaving.
You are looking forward to the pain to end.

Yeah 25g is a LOT of sodium. I'm surprised one could survive that much table salt in a single serving. And looking it up now the lethal dose isn't much higher.

You can't self-deceive yourself with this, so maybe get some introspection into what your brain actually wants you to do. What does your SI "tell" you? Maybe you're not certain that it is your time to go...

What about enema?
There are quite a few threads discussing this option, including the SN Megathread. Overall it is a rather challenging process and for many uncomfortable. the question is also how well absorption would work or if the body would expel the solution too fast.

I don't think this is the best place to discuss the many other ways of how to "disguise" SN. Again, there are many discussions already.
Just one method that struck me as interesting was making little "packages" using cigarette papers and dipping them in melted coconut oil to make swallowing easier.
