SN Fasting contradictions in Stan's guide and the PPeH

Yeah, SN on a full stomach will jeopardize the attempt. This isn't rocket science.

I never claimed, that fasting is obsolete. I know it is important. But there's a difference between fasting for 48 hours or 8 hours.

If 8 hours of fasting is perfectly enough, it's way easier to take SN the same day and not sit there two days around just waiting around to die.

Stan's 48 hour regime is not about fasting. It's about getting your stomach used to taking AE medications in advance to prepare to empty your stomach contents into your small intestine so by taking the AE starting 48 hours before, by the time you do drink the SN, your body can potentiate the SN quickly because it has been doing so for the last 48 hours. Common sense should tell you that you don't stop eating for 48 hours.

So when you are 8 hours away from drinking SN, have a piece of toast or bagel, or small salad and tea.

Is it okay to drink a coffee 2 hours before taking the SN?

I would not do that. IF you want coffee drink it 8 hours before. Everything you add to the mix creates a risk so is a cup of coffee worth the risk?

You're right. I just thought you should stop eating 8 hours before tking the SN and stop drinking 2 hours before the SN. And onl, drink water after that, but only if you really have to.

IF you need a small drink , have a small drink. I dont think it will have any effect one way or the other but coffee will sit in your stomach longer so I would avoid that.

I thnk 8 hours of fasting (no food) and 2 hours of dry fasting (no water) is what people usually do, though some have gone with up to 24 hours without food and still appeared to ctb.
